12 Regular Seeds  - X18 Purple Paki Hash Plant

Old-school genetics. Preserved, selected, and brought forward for a new generation.

This X18 Pakistani Hash Plant line traces back to the legendary Tom Hill X18 Pakistani Hash Plant, an old-school line with roots in Northern California dating back to the late 1980s.

The seeds that started this project came back from Europe approximately five years ago. Around 15 females were grown from the original stock — and, as can happen when working with old genetics, not everything was exceptional.

Some plants were large, loose, orange-flowered expressions that lacked the structure and outdoor resistance the breeder was looking for.

And then there was one completely different plant.

Purple. Rock hard. Funky. Resilient.

Its aroma was unmistakably old-school: fermented apple cider, earth, hash, and subtle fuel, with the kind of deep, complex funk that immediately brings to mind classic hash plants from another era.

Most importantly, that purple female showed exceptional resistance to mold and mildew compared with the rest of the population.

A purple male displaying similar characteristics was selected from the same population and bred back into the standout female. When the next generation was grown, the transformation was dramatic.

The undesirable loose orange expressions disappeared. The population became remarkably consistent: dense, hard, purple, aromatic plants carrying the characteristics that made the original selection special.

But the story gets even more interesting when you look beyond appearance and aroma.

X18 can produce a remarkably diverse range of cannabinoid expressions. Some selections have been THC dominant, while others have expressed significant CBD or mixed THC ratios. One of the breeder's personal favorite selections tested at only 6% THC but 18% CBD — yet remained a favorite because of its flavor and uniquely enjoyable effects.

That's part of what makes this line special.

Instead of simply chasing the highest THC number, X18 offers the opportunity to explore a much broader spectrum of cannabis chemistry.

Selected plants have also shown unusually diverse minor-cannabinoid profiles, including measurable levels of compounds such as CBC and CBG, alongside rich terpene production. One State Fair entry from this line tested at approximately 4% total terpenes, including 2.11% myrcene, earning a silver medal for myrcene as well as a silver medal for CBDA.

The experience can be just as unique as the chemistry.

Expect selections that lean toward a mellow, relaxing, functional effect — taking the edge off without necessarily producing an overwhelming high. Other selections can move firmly into THC-dominant territory, making this an especially interesting population for growers and breeders who want to explore different cannabinoid expressions.

And as a breeding plant, X18 has already shown incredible potential.

Crosses made with the line have produced entirely new expressions, including intensely funky combinations of musk, gas, body odor, earth, and old-school hash while retaining strong THC-dominant potential.

This isn't a modern strain designed around a single number.

It's a chance to explore an old genetic line that carries color, resilience, unusual cannabinoid diversity, rich terpene production, and the unmistakable character of classic hash plant genetics.
