Mendo Purps - 10 Regular Seeds
A fresh take on a legendary Mendocino classic, Greenshock Farms' Mendo Purps brings together deep purple flowers, vigorous growth, strong branching, and a unique terpene profile that leans into the earthy, woodsy side of this iconic genetic line.
The project began with Mendo Purps BX1 from Humboldt CSI. After hunting through the original population and identifying a few standout females, Greenshock returned to the line the following season in search of the right male and female pairing. Both selections displayed exceptional vigor, strong branching, and rich purple coloration.
The chosen female was particularly special, producing beautiful flower sets with an aroma that strayed from the typical sweet, fruity Mendo Purps profile. Instead, she expressed deep cedar, forest floor, worn leather, and earthy woodland notes, creating a rich, complex aroma with an unmistakably old-school character.
After bringing these two selections together, Greenshock grew out a small population of their offspring. The majority closely resembled the selected mother, producing dark purple flowers with that same distinctive cedar-and-leather aroma.
For growers who appreciate classic Mendocino genetics, colorful flowers, and complex, earthy terpene profiles, this is an exciting opportunity to explore Greenshock's unique expression of Mendo Purps.
