Mendo Dope is taking their award-winning Heady OG genetics back to their roots with Heady OG BX2, the latest evolution of one of their most celebrated breeding projects. Building on the success of Heady OG BX1, this new generation pushes even further toward the original Headies mother, with an emphasis on stronger gas terpenes, potency, and classic OG character.

The original Headies cut is a special piece of Mendo Dope history, rescued and revegged from the garden of a close friend who passed away in 2019. That same genetic line went on to take Best in Show at the 2024 Emerald Cup, earning its reputation for exceptional flower quality and potency.

With the BX2, Mendo Dope has continued refining the line, selecting for the traits that made the original so memorable. Expect vigorous plants with strong branching, a broad, sturdy structure, and the potential for dense, resin-heavy flowers that carry the unmistakable character of old-school OG.

The biggest evolution is in the terpenes. While earlier Heady OG expressions brought together creamy kush, subtle candy sweetness, and pungent gas, the BX2 pushes further into the fuel-dominant side of the family. Think sharp, nose-piercing OG gas, heavy fuel, and deep kush funk, with some of that underlying creamy richness still potentially coming through.

This is a release for growers chasing powerful, loud OG genetics rather than the latest fruit-and-candy trend. Heavy resin, strong structure, and an unapologetically gassy terpene profile are the focus.
