Canna Country Bio

CANNA COUNTRY FARMS is a small family-operated farm in Southern Humboldt County focusing on cultivars bred and selected on-farm for their smoking qualities and effects. How these cultivars grow has always been secondary to the user experience. Living with these plants has given us a deep appreciation for their nuances. We see each as characters and work to preserve and offer diversity. This is just the beginning, and we are actively engaged in R&D to collect the entire rainbow in clone and seed form.

Over the last number of years, we have curated a collection we feel represents our varied tastes and understanding of market trends.

At the 2021 Emerald Cup, Canna Country 26 received second place in Sun Grown. Canna Country also won the Breeder’s Cup that year.  In 2023 they took first place at Cannifest.

We’ve made a lot of selections of gas-heavy, fruit and candy forward fragrant aromas with vibrant coloring with potent smoking qualities. We haven’t bred or selected for extracts or size, just quality of experience. When smoking we prefer joints but love hard buds too perfect for the bong or pipe.
